Yep, tried it, shut em all down, never did the restart like it said though. Ill try that

Are you using wireless network monitor? I would uninstall your wireless adapter drivers and reinstall the latest ones from linksys the url is below.

Linksys Driver's

From the ping test it looks like WZC is enabled before getting the drivers just to see if this fix's your problem goto Start - Run - services.msc

Goto Wireless Zero Configuration right click stop

Then try the game see if that helps at all after that id just try uninstalling the drivers and getting the latest ones from linksys make a shortcut to WMP54G to your desktop and run that when you wanna connect to the internet inless the program automatically starts for you

I do use monitor, and it starts up when the computer starts up

btw, when i go to services.msc and stuff, and i right click it, it only says start, not stop. So it was never on

Are you on a wireless network connection? Is there any way to test a direct wired connection? Also, do you use a router with built-in firewall/SPI?

Its not wireless satellite type, but i use a wireless router on a home connection, thats direct cable. Also, the only firewall i have is the XP SP 2 one.

Only been playing about a week but, I run

P4 2.9 MHz
1.5 G RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 6200 256 MB
ISP at 4.0 M

And I get lag. Of course I haven't done any PvP yet either.
